Property Overview

W Dallas Victory Hotel & Residences was built in the heart of the city, calling the 72-acre upscale master-planned district of Victory Park its home. The district’s initial development was led by two distinct structures–American Airlines Center being one and W Dallas Victory Hotel & Residences the other.  The property, which Gatehouse Capital Corporation developed (and principal members of VSV participated), opened its doors in 2006 to reveal 252 guestrooms and 146 condominiums offering sweeping views of downtown Dallas.

 

The property was the first W Hotel in Texas, and the first W to combine both guestrooms and suites with residences–the property features a north tower with 61 luxury residences and a south tower housing an additional 83 residences, a 5,000 square foot Bliss Spa, a 150,0e foot outdoor pool and fitness center as well as notable dining and nightlife.

 

W Dallas’ sleek style granted the property to be named “Best Mixed-use Project” by Hospitality Design Magazine and it also won:

• Hospitality Design Award, 2007 – Hospitality Design
   

The W hotel is a destination brand hotel attracting a unique profile of traveler for an experience not yet available in Philadelphia, but ever present in New York and Washington, DC. W Hotels, Starwood's luxury boutique hotel brand, is generally marketed towards an upscale crowd. Launched in 1998, the brand has expanded with 57 hotels and resorts.

 

The W Hotel portion of the project is envisioned to offer the following facilities and services:

• 295 guest rooms and suites (approximately 13%), with a majority of rooms being king bedded, with the guest rooms averaging 400 square feet for a typical king, 800 square feet for a junior suite, 1,130 square feet for a typical suite and 1,500 square feet for an executive suite.

• Levels 32 - 49

• A swimming pool with a terrace area and a 15 seat bar/grill outlet (approx. 8,500 square feet)

• Separate lobby and elevators
