The project is expected to break ground in end of May 2015, the 51-story, dual branded W & element Hotel will be the first of its kind and will be located in the Center City neighborhood of Philadelphia at the corner of 15th & Chestnut Streets, which is the highest pedestrian trafficked corner in Philadelphia.

 

• W Hotel - Commanding the best views at the top of the building is The W Hotel. The W Hotel property will offer the following facilities and services:
   

  • 295 rooms 

  • 460 studio, one bedroom and two bedroom guest rooms

  • Full service spa and gym

  • 32,000 square feet of meeting space (including a 5,500 square foot ballroom)

  • Roof top pool and lounge area.

  • (2) active hotel lobbies 

  • Restaurant and retail store available to guests of the hotels and the public.

  • Offices for hotel personnel.

  • Underground parking garage (185 cars)

 

• element Hotel - element, a brand introduced in 2006 with the first hotel opened in 2008, provides a modern, upscale and intuitively designed hotel experience that allows guests to live well and feel in control. element hotels have an emphasis on 'green' attributes, and, with a full kitchen in every room, they are suitable for both short-term and extended stay guests. 
  
  The element by Westin portion of the Property will offer the following facilities and services:
   

  • 460 studio, one bedroom and two bedroom guest rooms

  • Levels 9 - 31; Total of 23 floors

  • 23 suites - 5% of total mix (72% Kings / 28% Queens)

  • All rooms (separate sleeping, living/working areas, a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, an over-sized spa shower, and Westin Heavenly® Bed.

  • The guest room working area (open shelving, an ergonomically chair, oversized work area and ample connections for power and internet).

  • A separate 7,500 square foot lobby and elevators located on second floor.
